This tool does not determine your legal status. It only estimates how closely your situation resembles occasional income or habitual economic activity in Spain.
Occasional Income vs Habitual Activity in Spain
Spain does not use a simple universal income threshold to decide whether someone must become autónomo. The key issue is usually whether the activity is occasional or habitual.
A single isolated project can be very different from monthly contractor income, a public online shop, a monetized content channel or a SaaS product that accepts payments automatically.
Why this calculator does not ask for income first
Many people believe there is a magic euro limit below which they do not need to register. That is one of the most common myths.
Regularity, continuity, advertising, clients, platforms and the structure of the activity can matter more than the amount earned.
